History

Founded by veterans of the management information systems and computer consulting industries, Summit Technology Services Inc. is an IT and Engineering Consulting Services firm located in Wellsville, NY. Summit began doing business in New York State in March of 1993 as Summit Technology Group. Summit began designing and developing software engineering systems with LabVIEW, C, C++, and VB in 1995, and provided this support across the U.S. In July of 1996, Summit Technology Services Inc. was formed and incorporated as a professional services firm to meet the specific needs of New York, Pennsylvania and Northeastern clients. In 2002, Summit became a "cleared facility" for working on government and Department of Defense (DOD) contracts. Client relationships and individual projects requiring specialty technologies take Summit nationwide. In 2004 Summit was recognizes as the Small Business of the Year for outstanding commitment and service to the community.

The primary focus of Summit Technology Services Inc is to provide diverse engineering and IT businesses and industries with superior customer service and high quality, innovative hardware and software solutions. Summit specializes in defining, developing and delivering turn-key project solutions as well as providing high tech staffing to valued clients ranging from small to Fortune 500/1000 companies.

Summit has two major markets:

1. Automated Test Systems and Software Engineering/Integration Services

Summit has extensive experience in software engineering/systems integration solutions and developing automated test systems for a variety of industries. Summit provides management, requirements, design, development, implementation, and support to a diverse client base across the U.S. Industrial and control systems support is provided for measurement, test (ATE), data acquisition (DAQ), instrumentation control, motion, vision, RF, and database systems. Our expertise includes NI hardware and software, LabVIEW, TestStand, C, C++, VB, and VB.net. We have a proven history with commercial, government and military industries, and are confident Summit will be an asset to your organization.

2. Strategic IT Software Deployment

Summit’s experience encompasses deploying, customizing, and supporting key software products such as Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, JDEdwards (World, One World), and designing and developing customized solutions utilizing a variety of operating systems, products and languages. Support has been provided for a diverse customer base across the northeast.
