The Summit Technology Services,
Inc. UCC (Universal Commercial Code) Data System manages
the lien/mortgage information on personal property. The
UCC system allows for the addition, deletion and changing
of the lien/mortgage information with password security
for system administration and general users. UCC file numbers
are assigned for new entries. Inquiry can be by debtor or
file number. User initials are maintained for any changes
to the data.
For a UCC, the user can:

Continue: hold the lien
for another 5 years/change the original data on the transaction

Terminate: the lien has
been paid off. Verify and delete

Release: part of the collateral
is being taken off the lien; verify and delete associated
collateral

Assign: there is a secured
party change, verify and change

Amend: collateral is being
added, debtor’s addresses add/change, etc.
Weekly processing/Reports
Print out a list of all transactions/file
numbers that exceed a specific 5-year date that is entered.
The list can be verified for delete.
