Motion Control

Summit’s Motion Control expertise spans many years because of the very experienced engineers we employ. From multiple Stepper Motors to Servo Control to Motor Control to Wafer Transport to Robotics to Motion Processes to Elevators to Escalators to Flight Controls (e.g. Resolvers, Stabilizers, Spoilers), we cover the gamut.

Motion Control has come a long way since Summit Engineers had to invent every motion solution from the ground up. Today, there are many helpful tools in shortening the time to develop as well as shorten the associated cost of development.

These are the tools Summit engineers know how to use:

• Motion Controllers for Servo Control
• Motion Controllers for Step Control (2,4,6, or 8 axes)
• Off the Shelf -Stepper Motors (1, 2, and 4 axes); Custom (How many axes do you need?)
• NEMA 17-34 Stepper Motors
• Prototyping using NI Motion Assistant including code generation in C or LabVIEW™.
• Real Time Motion Control using embedded processing.
• Proprietary applications with any level of complication.
• Power Drives and Motors
