Founded by veterans of the management information systems and computer consulting industries, Summit Technology Services Inc. is a Software Engineering and IT Consulting Services firm located in Wellsville, NY. Summit began doing business in New York State in March of 1993 as Summit Technology Group. In July of 1996, Summit was incorporated under the name of Summit Technology Services, Inc., and Craig Burdick became the President/Owner.
Summit began marketing its services across the U.S. to fortune 1000 companies within its strategic focus. In 2002, Summit became a "DOD cleared facility" for working on government and Department of Defense (DOD) contracts, utilizing “cleared” software engineers. In 2004 Summit was recognized as the “Small Business of the Year” for outstanding commitment and service to the community. Client relationships and individual projects requiring specialty industry and technology expertise take Summit nationwide.
