Requirements
1. Software engineering professional with experience in software development for power controllers, voltage regulation, AC-DC and DC-AC inverter designs, battery charger designs, software development for embedded systems, requirements definition, planning, implementation and testing, database management, object-oriented design/analysis.
2. Qualifications include LabVIEW Architecting and development, software for embedded systems, java development, OOAD, RAID configuration. Working with circuit designers/mechanical/chemical engrs to define software requirements, prototyping, conceptual design and interface implementation. Manage software contractors to assist complimentary development.
3. Technical skills include LabVIEW certified developer or architect or 4+ years experience, C, C++, Visio, programming for embedded systems.
4. Desired but not required: SWING, J2EE, CORBA, UML, JSP, Sybase Database, Servoy RAD solution

Background
B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of industry experience, or Masters CS/ME/EE with 3+ years of industry experience.

Scope of Position
RF Technician postion to fulfill RF test and measurement needs of the Pico Cell program, involving board module and system level performance verification. The technician is responsible for independently conducting measurements, debugging and re-working hardware at board, module and system level. Test set-ups may need to be developed

Day to Day Responsibities
Work under the guidance of responsible engineer on the program for long term plannig and day to day activites. As bugs are found during HW development and deployment in the field, conduct tests and measurements and any resulting HW modifications. Communicate regularly with the responsible engineer both verbally and in writing. Substantial communication via email, as responsible engineer might be in the field for substantial periods of time.

Required Skills
Proven working knowledge of RF electronics and systems and RF test and measurement techniques
Hands on experience working in the lab
Excellent soldering skills
Proficient in schematic and PCB layout interpretation
Ability to do re-work with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) components competently
Knowledge and hands on experience in RF electrical measurement equipment
Familiar and hands on experience with Spectrum Analyzers, Victor signal Generators and Vector Signal Analyzers
Familiar with Mentor Graphics' PADS PCB Design Software
Ability to implement test automation
Good verbal communication skills
Ability to write reports and present results

Education and Experience
Associate or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or Physics
Minimun 3 yrs practical lab experience with RF test and measurement techniques and Hardware
