• Accountable for the delivery of all Electrical System Engineering outputs in compliance with the engineering QCD commitment, by contributing in significant ways and by managing assigned project engineering resources
• Rolling Stock
• Derives the system and subsystem functional requirements to create technical specifications. Consistently reviews and manages the requirements, specifications and interfaces. • Leads the electrical design including train electrical schematics and wiring
• Calculate/simulate and verify tractive and braking effort, plus brake blending, required to meet customer requirements, in addition to reviewing thermal analysis of the propulsion and friction braking systems based on agreed variables

• Maintain a level of accuracy of the Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM)

• Associates degree in related engineering discipline (i.e. EET, MET)
• Experience with electrical fields, motors
• Familiarity with tooling design and 3D software
• Knowledge of drafting and CAD tools including AutoCAD, Pro-E, CATIA, Solid Works or other similar software.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
