Developer performs application analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents. The candidate also resolves defects encountered during various testing cycles.
• Software Design - Define product and subcomponent architectures, document and present preliminary detailed design descriptions.
• Software Development - Develop desktop applications primarily, Microsoft Office Add-ins for Microsoft Office for Excel, in addition, GUI interfaces, in structured high-level languages (VB.NET, or VBA) and Labview application for optical test system.
•Testing/Validation - Define test plans/procedures, create and execute test software validation projects with a formalized report deliverable
• Support - Assist in training support personnel on use of new/modified applications and assist in trouble-shooting bugs/problems through resolution.

Required Skills:
• Intermediate to Expert Microsoft Excel and Access Skills

SR/ PROCESS TECHNICIAN 3

Job Description: S-C474

This position is in Wilmington, NC with some initial travel to Concord, NC (for about 5-6 weeks)
Duration: 6-12 months

General description:Learn about the modification of an existing piece of process equipment during the installation of the prototype unit. After the prototype has been installed, this person is expected to lead the propagation of the changes to other units. This equipment has mechanical and eletrical components and interacts with an existing control computer. The person in this role would be expected to direct the work of contractors and keep to both a project schedule and budget.

Required Skills/Experience:Project leadership skills with a focus on managing contractors, keeping to a schedule and a budget. Electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology background would be preferred due to the nature of the modification. Strong understanding and experience with controls logic and software is desired.

Desired Skills/Experience:Prior project leadership/management. Electrical & Controls engineering background. Experience with MS project or other project management software is desired. MS word and Excel. Bachelors degree in EE or Electrical Engineering Technology is preferred.

Soft Skills:Good written and verbal communication skills. MS office product.
